Reporting to the Chief Executive, you will be a trusted adviser to elected members, senior officers and services across the council. You will provide clear legal assurance, strengthen democratic governance and importantly, as a member of the Corporate Management Team, you will help shape the future of our organisation and our place.

This is a high-profile opportunity to lead a respected legal and governance function, influence at the most senior levels and bring calm, credible judgement to a complex and politically sensitive environment.
