Newham Community Law Project is recruiting a Director of Legal Services to join our newly established organisation as we launch our legal services in summer 2026.

This is a unique opportunity to help shape a community-based legal practice from the outset.

  • Over the coming months we will be applying for Legal Aid contracts and to become a member of the Law Centres Network.
  • We currently have one immigration solicitor and are recruiting a second solicitor and an operations manager.
  • You will be responsible for managing the team, supervising casework, ensuring compliance with SRA and Legal Aid Agency requirements, and working closely with trustees on strategy, governance and service development.
