I am working with a highly established UK manufacturing business who are looking to bring an experienced Manufacturing Operations Director into their team.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced manufacturing leader to join the business at an exciting stage of its development, with the opportunity to drive continuous improvement, improve productivity and support the business as it continues to evolve. This role oversees manufacturing output, technical support, health & safety, regulatory compliance, maintenance, facilities management, factory quality and site security.
Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will lead and develop an established senior management team across the manufacturing operation, providing the focus, direction and leadership to drive performance and support future growth.

About You
I am looking for an experienced and commercially aware manufacturing leader who can prioritise, make decisions and remain focused on what really matters, whilst bringing people with them.
You will need:
- A minimum of 2 years' experience at Director level within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong manufacturing leadership experience, with the ability to lead through experienced managers.
- Essential experience with CNC machinery.
- An engineering or technically focused background would be highly advantageous.
- Experience working with a combination of modern CNC technology and more traditional plant and equipment.
- Manufacturing experience within solid wood, timber, metal, composites, plastics, engineering or another technically driven manufacturing environment.
- A strong track record of improving productivity, efficiency and manufacturing performance.
- A focused, practical approach with the ability to prioritise and implement meaningful improvements.
