About Us
Founded in 1869 by the Catholic order of the Josephites, St George's Weybridge is the largest independent co-educational Catholic school in the country, educating over 1,500 pupils across our Junior School and College. We seek to inspire a love of learning and to help every pupil fulfil their aspirations and potential within an atmosphere of mutual respect and compassion.
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and innovative Director of Marketing & Admissions to provide strategic leadership of marketing and admissions across both schools. You will take ownership of the St George's brand, direct all marketing, communications and promotional activity, and work closely with the Head of College and the Head of the Junior School to attract and recruit the families who will thrive here. You will bring an extensive marketing communications background; experience in educational marketing would be an advantage but is not essential. This is an exciting opportunity to build from a position of strength and shape how one of the country's leading Catholic schools tells its story.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
