Wiggin is a UK law firm with market-leading media and entertainment, technology and IP practices. Clients come to us for our deep understanding of the commercial and regulatory issues affecting our sectors, our full service offering and our practical and commercial advice. Our client base includes film and television studios, technology platforms, game developers, music publishers, and sports clubs and bodies. As well as helping businesses navigate the ever-changing digital economy, we have created a number of entrepreneurial legal technology products focused on clients’ needs.

We have an opening for a Director of Marketing & Business Development. This is an outstanding opportunity to drive the strategic planning and execution across marketing and business development. You will be instrumental in developing the firm’s brand and how it is perceived in the marketplace, driving a premium positioning strategy, institutionalising client relationships, and maximising opportunities to generate sustainable revenue growth from existing and prospective clients. You will lead and inspire a team and play a key role within the senior leadership of the firm, becoming a trusted adviser to the Managing Partner and key stakeholders.

Critical for this role is a commercially minded, collaborative leader with exceptional communication and influencing skills, and a proven ability to deliver impactful, integrated marketing and business development strategies aligned with firm-wide priorities. Previous experience across law, professional services, technology, or media including advertising agencies is advantageous. You will possess a commercial mindset, a deep understanding driving successful relationships and delivery, and in influencing a team to deliver best-in-class campaigns and initiatives across the firm.
