We're looking for a Director of Markets to lead the team that acts as the voice of the market inside Alfa - shaping how we win in the global auto and equipment finance industry.
What we'll do together
You'll lead Alfa's Markets function, building and leading a team of Market Leads and analysts who act as the voice of the market inside Alfa. Through a deep understanding of customer needs, competitive positioning, regulatory change and industry trends, you'll make sure our commercial, product and strategic direction stays aligned to real market opportunities.
- You'll own our market-level go-to-market strategies and propositions
- Support major sales opportunities with strategic guidance and executive-level engagement
- Act as a senior external voice for Alfa with customers, prospects, industry bodies and analysts - including a leading role in shaping the content and themes at Alfa Connect, our flagship client event
How we'll work together
You'll be a key member of our Revenue leadership team, working closely with Product, Strategy, Delivery, Partnering and Marketing so that market insight shapes everything from product roadmaps to campaign planning. Alongside our Director of Product, you'll model open collaboration and constructive challenge, always in the best interests of Alfa and our customers. You'll lead, coach and develop the Markets team, building a collaborative, inclusive and externally-focused culture that reflects our values of working together, listening and constructive challenge.

The tools we'll use
Your real toolkit is market intelligence: customer and competitor insight, regulatory tracking and structured strategic thinking, backed up by close partnership with our Revenue, Product and Strategy teams and the platforms they use to plan, track and measure progress against our commercial goals.
What you'll bring to the team
- Significant experience in a senior market strategy, commercial leadership, product marketing, industry practice leadership or consulting role within enterprise software
- A strong understanding of regulated financial services markets - ideally automotive, equipment or commercial finance, or an adjacent sector
- A track record of defining and executing go-to-market strategies for complex B2B software products and services
- Experience leading and developing senior, highly skilled teams
- Strong commercial acumen, with experience supporting revenue growth, market expansion and strategic planning
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, comfortable engaging executive stakeholders, customers and prospects
- A history of representing organisations externally through industry forums, conferences or customer engagements
- An understanding of AI, automation and the emerging technologies reshaping financial services
