Director of MIS, Funding & Data
Further Education College | South of England
We are seeking an experienced, strategic and forward-thinking Director of MIS, Funding & Data to join the College Leadership Team of a large Further Education College in the South of England.
Reporting to the Deputy CEO – Finance, this is a pivotal senior leadership role with College-wide responsibility for MIS, funding, data and business intelligence, statutory reporting and examinations.
The successful candidate will combine strong technical knowledge of Further Education funding, ILR, data and systems with the strategic leadership skills to ensure that high-quality information supports curriculum planning, financial sustainability, organisational performance and improved student outcomes.

The Role
As Director of MIS, Funding & Data, you will:

- Set and deliver the College’s MIS and data strategy.
- Lead a team of data professionals.
- Ensure compliance with statutory reporting and examinations.
- Work closely with the Deputy CEO – Finance and other members of the College Leadership Team.
- Drive data governance and data quality initiatives.
- Collaborate with curriculum and finance teams to support decision-making.
- Enhance business intelligence capabilities.
- Foster a culture of data-driven decision-making.
