Director of Operations & Service Development

Join a CQC 'Outstanding' Leader in Home Care

Location: Hybrid (London Office Base in Aldgate | National Travel Expenses Paid)

Salary: c£95,000 per annum + Performance-Related Bonus Scheme

Leadership Level: Senior Leadership Team (Reporting to Managing Director)

The Opportunity

Are you a visionary operational leader looking to make a lasting impact in health and social care? As the Director of Operations & Service Development, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our strategic direction and driving commercial growth. Working closely with the Managing Director, you will bridge strategic vision with operational execution—ensuring top-tier CQC compliance, financial sustainability, and digital transformation across our services.

What You Will Do

  • Drive Commercial Strategy & Growth: Identify revenue streams, refine pricing models, manage margins, and lead commercial negotiations alongside Sales and Finance.
  • Champion Operational Excellence: Provide strategic management to all care services, enforce robust KPIs, eliminate inefficiencies, and mentor operational leadership teams.
  • Maintain Quality & CQC Standards: Hold senior accountability for regulatory readiness, statutory compliance, clinical governance frameworks, and risk management.
  • Lead Digital Transformation: Own the digital roadmap and transformational agenda in collaboration with the IT Director to modernize infrastructure and operational models.

What We Are Looking For

  • Extensive leadership experience within UK health and social care.
  • A proven track record in strategic planning, commercial growth, and major transformation projects.
  • Strong financial acumen (budgeting, pricing, margin management) combined with expert knowledge of CQC regulations.
  • Exceptional executive stakeholder management and change leadership capabilities.
