Operations Director

We have an exciting opportunity for an entrepreneurial Operations Director to join a growing commercial fit out, design & build business.

This is a highly autonomous role with responsibility for shaping and developing the operational function, driving project delivery and supporting the continued growth of the business.

A key focus will be building, leading and developing the Project Management team, introducing the right structure, processes and accountability to support the next stage of growth.

You’ll work closely with the senior leadership team across commercial, design and delivery, ensuring projects are delivered to the highest standards, on time and commercially successfully.

Reporting directly to Board level, you’ll have the influence and autonomy to make key operational decisions and drive meaningful change.

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Strong experience within commercial fit out, interiors or design & build
  • A proven track record leading Project Management / delivery teams
  • Strong commercial and operational understanding
  • Excellent supply-chain and subcontractor relationships
  • Experience delivering complex commercial projects
  • An entrepreneurial, hands-on approach
  • The ability to build teams, implement structure and drive growth
  • A diplomatic and collaborative leadership style, with the confidence to be direct and decisive when required
  • The gravitas and communication skills to operate effectively at Board level
