Job Title: Director of Administration and Facilities

Location: London

Working Arrangement: Four days a week in the London office.

Further info: Highly competitive salary and benefits.

Desirable: French language skills.


My client, a fast-growing and elite global law firm in London, is seeking a Director of Administration & Facilities to oversee its London office and one European office. Working closely with lawyers and Business Services leaders, the successful candidate will ensure seamless operational support across the region.

This senior leadership role will have overall responsibility for the administrative management of the London office, including oversight of facilities, office operations, and day-to-day workplace management, while supporting the firm's continued growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the day-to-day administrative operations of the London office, ensuring a professional, responsive, and well-managed workplace.
  • Identify opportunities to improve office processes, operational effectiveness, and service delivery.
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with lawyers, administrative staff, and Business Services leaders.
  • Ensure that office facilities, infrastructure, and operational procedures meet firm standards.
  • Assist in all aspects of facilities operations, including space planning, office maintenance, vendor management, and health & safety compliance.
  • Partner with firm leadership to identify operational priorities and implement initiatives that enhance office performance.

About You:

  • Significant experience in office administration, with a heavy emphasis on facilities and operations management, within a law firm or professional services environment.
  • Demonstrated experience managing budgets, facilities, administrative staff, and vendor relationships.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams.
  • Excellent organisational, project management, and problem-solving abilities.
