An opportunity to build, lead and grow a modern outsourced finance offering.

We're working with an ambitious, growing professional services business looking to appoint a senior leader to take ownership of its outsourced finance offering.

This is a significant leadership opportunity for someone who understands what a genuinely high-quality outsourced finance service looks like and, importantly, has the commercial drive to grow one.

The business already has the platform, client relationships and ambition. Now they're looking for someone who can help take the offering to the next level.

The opportunity

You'll have responsibility for developing and growing a modern outsourced finance proposition for SME and growing businesses, combining excellent day-to-day financial management with meaningful commercial insight and advisory support.

Your remit will include:

  • Taking ownership of the strategy and growth of the outsourced finance offering.
  • Winning new clients and developing opportunities within the existing client base.
  • Leading, developing and scaling the team as the division grows.
  • Ensuring consistently high standards of client delivery.
  • Developing the service proposition across management reporting, forecasting, finance operations and strategic support.
  • Using technology, automation and cloud accounting solutions to create an efficient and scalable service.
  • Building strong relationships with business owners, founders and senior leadership teams.
  • Working closely with the wider leadership team to identify new commercial opportunities.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
