About Norwood
Founded in 1795, Norwood is the UK's oldest Jewish charity. We support and empower neurodiverse children and their families and people with neurodevelopmental disabilities to live their best lives.
Across more than 30 locations in London and Berkshire, our services span residential and supported living, children's and family services, transition and community support. Our work is delivered by around 650 employees and 250 volunteers, supporting hundreds of people and their families every year.
About the Role
We are now looking for a Director of People & Culture to lead the delivery and continued development of our People Strategy.
Reporting to the Chief Executive and as a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, you will provide strategic leadership across our people agenda, strengthening organisational capability, leadership and culture while ensuring our People & Culture function provides high-quality, responsive and well-governed support across Norwood.

Leading a multidisciplinary team across Recruitment, Learning & Organisational Development, People Partnering and Volunteering, you will play a pivotal role in attracting, developing, engaging and retaining the talented people who enable Norwood to deliver outstanding services.
You will work closely with the Chief Executive, Executive Team and Board of Trustees, providing trusted advice on people matters and contributing to wider organisational strategy. At the same time, you will be visible across our services, combining strategic leadership with strong operational judgement and a genuine understanding of the realities of a complex, people-intensive organisation.
