Director of People & Culture – UK, Ireland and Europe

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Director of People & Culture to join a growing international hospitality business with a diverse portfolio of premium hospitality brands in UK, Ireland and Europe.

This is a pivotal executive leadership role, partnering with the senior leadership team to shape the people strategy across multiple countries, ensuring the organisation continues to attract, develop and retain exceptional talent while supporting ambitious commercial growth.

Working closely with operational leaders, you will lead the evolution of the people agenda, strengthening leadership capability, succession planning, organisational development and employee engagement across the portfolio.

This is a highly visible position for a commercially minded People & Culture leader who understands the direct relationship between culture, leadership and business performance.

The role

  • Develop and deliver the Group's People & Culture strategy across a multi-regional portfolio.
  • Partner with senior executives and hotel leadership teams to strengthen organisational capability and leadership effectiveness.
  • Lead talent management, succession planning and leadership development initiatives.
  • Drive employee engagement, retention and employer branding across multiple locations.
  • Support organisational change, workforce planning and business transformation projects.
  • Provide strategic guidance on employee relations, compliance and people governance across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Coach and support hotel leadership teams to build high-performing cultures.
  • Develop consistent People & Culture frameworks while recognising local market requirements.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders on all people-related matters.

About you

We're looking for an experienced hospitality People & Culture leader who combines strategic thinking with strong commercial awareness.

You'll ideally bring:

  • Significant senior HR/People & Culture leadership experience within hospitality.
  • Experience supporting multiple locations, across multiple countries and regions.
  • A strong background in leadership development, talent management and succession planning.
  • Excellent organisational development and employee engagement experience.
  • Strong employee relations knowledge and commercial business partnering skills.
  • Experience influencing executive stakeholders and driving organisational change.
  • Willingness to travel regularly across a European portfolio.
