Director of Performance Marketing

Location: London (Hybrid) | Salary: up to 170k + Bonus + Benefits

This is an exciting opportunity for a senior performance marketing leader to shape and scale customer acquisition for a fast-growing digital consumer business. Operating at executive level, you will own the vision, strategy, and execution of performance marketing, driving sustainable growth through data-led decision making, innovation, and commercial impact.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Own the long-term performance marketing strategy aligned to commercial growth objectives.
  • Develop channel strategies, investment frameworks, and measurement approaches that drive incremental growth.
  • Partner closely with Marketing, Product, Data, Customer Analytics, and Commercial teams to optimise acquisition performance.
  • Lead and evolve the performance marketing operating model, including internal teams and agency partners.
  • Drive accountability, pace, and execution across all acquisition channels.
  • Build a strong test-and-learn culture, identifying opportunities across AI, emerging channels, audience strategies, and creative formats.
  • Ensure performance marketing activity balances scale, efficiency, and long-term customer value.
  • Influence senior stakeholders across the organisation and contribute to broader customer growth strategy.
  • Strengthen measurement, attribution, targeting, and incrementality frameworks to support investment decisions.

Your Skills & Experience

  • Strong experience leading performance marketing and customer acquisition within a digital consumer business.
  • Proven ability to scale growth in sectors such as fintech, digital services, subscriptions, marketplaces, e-commerce, or similar environments.
  • Deep expertise across performance marketing channels and a strong understanding of incrementality and attribution.
  • Commercially focused with a track record of delivering profitable growth and customer value.
  • Experience managing significant marketing budgets, agency relationships, and senior stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical capability combined with a creative and innovative mindset.
  • Collaborative leadership style with the ability to influence across multiple business functions.
  • Passion for experimentation, optimisation, and continuous improvement.
