Director of Primary Care
The Director of Primary Care is a full-time, hybrid role based in Sussex, WI, with a blend of on-site leadership and some work-from-home flexibility. This role oversees the strategic direction and operational performance of primary care services across practices, ensuring safe, effective, and patient-centered care. The Director will collaborate with GP partners and senior leaders on resource planning, budgeting, and compliance with regulatory and contractual requirements. The role also involves fostering a learning culture, supporting staff development, and championing innovation in care models, digital tools, and patient engagement.
We are looking for:
- Leadership and management skills in healthcare settings, including team leadership, change management, and performance oversight.
- Operational and service delivery skills such as practice management, workflow optimization, and continuous quality improvement.
- Strategic planning and organizational development skills, including setting priorities, managing projects, and aligning services with organizational goals.
- Stakeholder engagement and communication skills, including collaboration with clinicians, staff, patients, and external partners.
- Clinical or healthcare background (e.g., primary care, nursing, allied health, practice management) and strong understanding of primary care delivery models.
- Knowledge of regulatory standards, safety requirements, and best practices in primary care and community health.
- Ability to use data and analytics to inform decisions, track outcomes, and report on service performance.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., healthcare administration, public health, business, or clinical discipline); advanced degree is an advantage.
- Demonstrated commitment to patient-centered care, staff wellbeing, and inclusive, non-discriminatory leadership.
