Director – Technology Procurement | Enterprise Software & AI
Central London – 2 days per week
£90,000–£125,000 + Strong Bonus + Car Allowance + Significant Share Package
I’m partnering with a major global organisation with one of the most sophisticated and highly regarded procurement functions in the market to recruit a Director within its Technology Procurement team.
This is an outstanding opportunity for a high-potential, ambitious Technology Procurement professional who has progressed quickly in their career and is looking for a platform where they can continue that trajectory.
My client operates an extremely complex, global procurement environment, and this role will have significant exposure across the organisation. You’ll work with senior Digital & Technology stakeholders internationally, take ownership of up to £80m of strategic technology spend, and lead relationships and negotiations with some of the world's largest technology suppliers.
The role will have a major focus on Enterprise Software, and importantly, my client is looking for someone who has a strong understanding of AI and the rapidly evolving technology landscape and can translate emerging technology trends into commercial and procurement strategies.

The opportunity:
- Own and develop global category strategies across Enterprise Software and strategic Technology spend
- Manage a portfolio of up to £80m
- Lead complex, high-value negotiations with major global technology suppliers
- Develop procurement strategies that deliver significant commercial value, innovation and competitive advantage
- Partner with senior Digital & Technology stakeholders across a complex global organisation
- Build strong knowledge of emerging technologies, particularly AI, and understand their commercial and procurement implications
- Create compelling business cases and influence senior stakeholders to drive change
- Build strategic relationships with key global suppliers at executive level
- Lead and develop procurement professionals within the wider category team
- Drive value beyond savings across innovation, risk, service, quality and supplier performance
Who we're looking for:
- A high-potential, ambitious procurement professional who has demonstrated rapid career progression
- Significant Technology Procurement experience, particularly across Enterprise Software
- Experience working within large, complex, global procurement functions is essential
- Strong understanding of AI, emerging technology and the changing enterprise software landscape
- Evidence of developing and executing sophisticated global category strategies
- Experience leading major, complex commercial negotiations
- Strong commercial and financial acumen
- Confidence engaging and influencing senior global stakeholders
- Experience dealing with major strategic technology suppliers
- Someone intellectually curious, driven and keen to continue developing their career quickly
