Director of Procurement & Service Management

As we continue our ambitious growth journey, we're looking for an exceptional Director of Procurement & Service Management to lead our procurement and contract management strategy across our operational sites, construction projects and corporate functions.

The Opportunity
Reporting directly to the Chief Finance Officer, you'll provide strategic leadership across procurement, supplier management, contract governance, stock management and service delivery.
You'll lead a talented procurement team, build strong partnerships across the business, and ensure enfinium secures best-in-class value from its suppliers while maintaining the highest standards of compliance, service and operational performance.
Working closely with Plant Managers, Maintenance Managers, the Director of Group Asset Management and Executive leadership, you'll help ensure our sites have the materials, services and supplier partnerships they need to operate efficiently and support future growth.
What You'll Be Responsible For
As Director of Procurement & Service Management, you will:
- Develop and implement enfinium's procurement and supplier management strategy
- Lead, coach and develop the Procurement Team, setting clear objectives and driving high performance
- Build and strengthen strategic supplier relationships to deliver continuous improvement, innovation and value
- Negotiate and manage high-value contracts across engineering services, commodities and corporate functions including IT, HR, Legal and Professional Services
- Partner with senior stakeholders to optimise commercial outcomes, service delivery and risk management
- Monitor market trends and proactively identify opportunities to improve cost, service and resilience
- Ensure robust contract governance, supplier compliance and regulatory adherence across the organisation
- Create effective procurement reporting, performance management and business intelligence processes
- Support operational teams with supplier performance, contract changes and sourcing alternatives when required
- Drive continuous improvement, best practice and procurement excellence across the business

What We're Looking For
You'll be an experienced procurement leader who thrives in a fast-paced operational environment and enjoys working collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders.
You'll bring:
- Proven experience in a senior procurement role within power generation, heavy manufacturing, industrial processing, utilities or a similar asset-intensive environment
- Strong leadership experience, including building and developing successful procurement teams
- CIPS qualification (or equivalent professional accreditation)
- Expertise in category strategy, strategic sourcing and supplier relationship management
- Excellent commercial, negotiation and contract management skills
- Experience managing complex, high-value contracts and supplier portfolios
- Strong understanding of governance, risk management and compliance
- The ability to influence at all levels, from operational teams through to Executive leadership
- A proactive, hands-on approach with a passion for problem solving and continuous improvement

Location
Nationwide / Flexible
This role will involve regular travel to enfinium sites across the UK and occasional international travel.
