Position Description
Tenna is searching for a Director of Product to translate our product vision and strategy into clear, actionable plans that drive execution across multiple product teams. This leader will manage and develop a global team while remaining closely involved in the day-to-day work required to deliver sophisticated B2B SaaS, mobile, and hardware-enabled products.
The ideal candidate is a practical, low-ego product leader who can move easily between setting direction and ensuring work gets done. You will partner closely with Engineering, Design, Sales, Customer Success, and executive leadership to establish priorities, communicate progress, remove obstacles, and deliver products that solve meaningful problems for customers.
This is not a strategy-only position. You will stay connected to execution, regularly assess product progress, use data to inform decisions, and hold teams accountable for delivering high-quality outcomes.
Your Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop the Product team, establishing clear expectations and creating accountability for results.
- Turn product goals and business priorities into clear roadmaps, requirements, timelines, and executable plans.
- Partner with Software Engineering, Hardware, Design, and other cross-functional stakeholders to develop coordinated solutions across products.
- Communicate product priorities, performance, risks, dependencies, and delivery timelines clearly to executives and cross-functional leaders.
- Synthesize customer feedback, product usage data, market insights, and business needs into informed product decisions.
- Engage directly with prospective and existing customers to understand their workflows, challenges, and needs related to current and future product offerings.
- Develop and maintain product requirements, roadmaps, supporting documentation, and executive-level reporting using tools such as Jira and Confluence.
- Use product, project-management, analytics, and reporting tools to organize work, monitor progress, and make timelines and performance visible.
- Partner with Design to create intuitive product experiences; provide thoughtful feedback on user flows, concepts, prototypes, and mockups.
- Balance long-term product direction with near-term business needs, technical realities, customer commitments, and delivery deadlines.
- Support products deployed at scale across thousands of users and complex customer environments.
- Promote a culture of strong listening, clear communication, analytical decision-making, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in Product Management, with a proven track record of success in launching and scaling B2B technology products in a fast-paced environment.
- 5+ years of experience leading Product Managers.
- Experience managing the entire product lifecycle from ideation to launch and beyond.
- A record of translating product vision and business strategy into practical plans that teams successfully execute.
- Experience supporting native mobile deployments across large user populations, ideally using technologies such as Swift and Kotlin.
- Working knowledge of Agile product development practices, multi-tenant systems, cloud-based platforms, and microservices architecture.
- Strong experience directly engaging prospective and existing customers regarding current and future product offerings.
- Proven ability to creatively solve problems, influence product improvements, and interpret business/technical requirements.
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.
- Strong analytical thinking and decision-making abilities.
- Sufficient technical fluency to collaborate effectively with engineers and understand how technologies and languages such as JavaScript, Java, and Python support product development; direct coding experience is not required.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills, with a proven ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience within the construction technology industry or IoT is strongly preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Design, Information Technology, Economics, or a related STEM degree program is required or equivalent.
