Overview

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Director of Product Consulting to lead a growing Product Consulting function within a market-leading software organisation undergoing an exciting period of growth and transformation.

This is a highly influential leadership role responsible for defining how product expertise is developed, embedded and delivered across customer-facing teams. Sitting at the intersection of Product, Sales, Customer Success, Marketing and Professional Services, you will shape the strategy, frameworks and programmes that enable teams to articulate product value, drive customer outcomes and support long-term commercial success.

The successful candidate will bring a strong background in Product Consulting, Solution Consulting, Product Enablement, Pre-Sales or Go-To-Market leadership, combined with exceptional stakeholder management and coaching capabilities. You will be passionate about creating high-performing teams, driving product excellence and building scalable enablement programmes that support business growth.

Your Role

  • Leading and developing the Product Consulting function, establishing strategy, objectives and best practices.
  • Designing and delivering a comprehensive product enablement strategy across customer-facing teams.
  • Building and implementing learning programmes, coaching frameworks and competency models that drive product expertise and commercial effectiveness.
  • Creating a culture of product excellence, ensuring teams can confidently communicate value propositions and customer outcomes.
  • Overseeing the development and evolution of compelling demonstration environments across the product portfolio.
  • Supporting strategic customer engagements, executive-level presentations, workshops and product demonstrations.
  • Partnering closely with Product Management, Product Marketing, Sales, Customer Success and Professional Services leaders.
  • Acting as a key voice of the customer by ensuring insights and feedback are effectively captured and communicated across the organisation.
  • Establishing capability assessment programmes and development pathways to continually improve team performance.
  • Driving alignment between product strategy, market messaging and customer engagement activities.
  • Building and mentoring a high-performing Product Consulting team while fostering a collaborative and customer-centric culture.
  • Contributing to wider go-to-market initiatives and helping shape the future direction of the function.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
