Location: Remote (UK/Europe) with international travel Business: Rapiscan Systems – Aviation Detection Security
Rapiscan Systems is a global leader in security inspection and detection technology, trusted by airports, governments, customs authorities and security agencies worldwide. We are seeking a commercially focused Director of Product Management - Aviation Security to lead the strategic direction of our Aviation Detection Security portfolio. This role owns the long-term product vision, roadmap and lifecycle strategy for solutions used across the global aviation security market.
This is not a traditional product management position. We are looking for an industry expert who understands the complexities of aviation security screening and can influence both internal stakeholders and key customers to drive innovation, market growth and product success.

- You will be responsible for shaping the future of Rapiscan's aviation detection technologies, working closely with Engineering, Sales, Operations, Regulatory Affairs, Service and Executive Leadership teams.
- You will engage directly with customers, aviation authorities and global partners to ensure our products remain at the forefront of the industry.
We're Particularly Interested In People From
- Other aviation security screening or X-ray inspection technology companies.
What You'll Bring
- Significant product management leadership experience within aviation security screening, X-ray inspection or detection technologies.
- Proven ability to define and execute strategic product roadmaps.
- Experience managing complex product lifecycles from concept through launch and sustainment.
- Strong customer engagement skills and the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
- Experience translating market and regulatory requirements into commercial product strategies.
- Track record of driving new product introductions and delivering business growth.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience supporting bids, proposals and major customer opportunities.
