Director of Product Management | Portfolio Monitoring @ CEPRES

CEPRES is a leading and fast-growing digital investment platform for private capital markets—an asset class that has become increasingly important in global portfolios of sovereign wealth funds, insurance companies, pension plans, and other institutional investors. Our clients use CEPRES to manage, analyse, and benchmark their private market investments, while the platform connects thousands of professionals through one of the world’s largest private investment networks.

CEPRES GmbH / Corp is headquartered in Munich and New York, with additional offices in Denver, Heidelberg, and several locations in the Middle East. Our team is incredibly diverse, with over 20 nationalities globally. We value smart and innovative people who thrive in team environments and embody a global mindset.

About the Role

We are seeking a “Director of Product Management” to own and drive the Portfolio Monitoring product area. This is a customer-facing leadership role where you will:

  • Work directly with large, sophisticated institutional clients who require complex customization, configuration, and integration.
  • Define the product vision and roadmap for portfolio monitoring, translating client needs into scalable product capabilities.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Customer Success, and Engineering to deliver solutions that win and retain enterprise accounts.

The ideal candidate comes from a B2B enterprise software background in private markets, alternative investments, or financial data, with direct experience managing products where client-specific configuration and white-glove engagement are pivotal.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the product vision, strategy, and 12-month roadmap for the Portfolio Monitoring product, ensuring alignment with CEPRES’ business objectives and market opportunities.
  • Participate in annual strategic planning with business leadership, bringing market intelligence, competitive analysis, and technology feasibility insights to shape commercial priorities.
  • Maintain structured systematic market and competitive intelligence, grounding roadmap prioritization and strategy in quantifiable data rather than anecdotal sales input.
  • Serve as the primary product voice in client engagements, including:
    • Sales cycles, product demos, discovery workshops.
    • Scoping solutions for enterprise prospects and existing accounts.
  • Translate large-scale customization requests into scalable, repeatable product capabilities for broader market adoption.
  • Partner with Sales and Customer Success to develop account-specific strategies, ensuring product alignment with contractual commitments.
  • Oversee multiple agile development squads, promoting coordinated execution, cross-team collaboration, and continuous improvement in product delivery.
  • Champion price positioning and go-to-market (GTM) strategy, collaborating with Marketing to refine competitive differentiation, messaging, and pricing strategies.
  • Develop partnerships with strategic data providers and technology vendors to enhance the product ecosystem.
  • Mentor and develop the product management team, fostering a culture of client empathy, analytical rigor, and continuous learning.
  • Monitor product performance, adoption metrics, and client satisfaction to refine strategic decisions and prioritization.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
