Role Summary
We are hiring a Director of Production to lead production for shared platform technology that game teams build and ship on. You will take the platform from early releases into a hardened, versioned foundation that other teams can rely on. The work ahead is to take the platform through its first title integrations, its first production releases, and subsequent expansion.
You set the roadmap and release cadence across engine SDKs, backend services and the release pipeline. You run the relationships with the teams that depend on the platform, internal partner teams, third-party vendors, and co-development partners. You are the person who makes sure features and releases land in the right order, for the right teams, on dates people can plan around.

Key Responsibilities
- Own planning and delivery of the platform roadmap jointly with product leadership, sequencing platform work in tune with our title pipeline
- Run the release train: versioned, stable releases of SDKs, backend services, tools and reference projects
- Translate product requirements and title needs into platform priorities, and platform constraints back into terms product and team leads can plan around
- Establish and run the onboarding, rollout and upgrade processes for teams building on the platform
- Manage dependencies on partner platform, legal, trust & safety, data and infrastructure teams
- Lead third-party vendor relationships: contracts, roadmaps and escalation paths
- Grow the production function as the team and the number of titles it supports grow, owning resource planning and the KPIs that go with it
- Run a lightweight production process sized for a small team that ships fast, and hold every release to the highest compliance and trust & safety standards
- Define and report platform delivery health metrics: time to integration, update adoption, release predictability and service availability
Required Qualifications
- Experience shipping and operating live games
- Substantial game production experience, including leading production for shared technology that other teams depend on
- Fluency in the technical shape of the work: SDKs, backend services, cloud infrastructure and data pipelines
- The aptitude and experience to evaluate technical designs, challenge sequencing calls and ask the right questions
- Experience running a team whose customers are other studios or partner teams, where your output is their dependency
- Experience owning third-party vendor relationships: selection, contracts, integration timelines and escalation
- Clear writing: roadmaps, release notes, status and decisions in a form people outside the team can act on
- Comfort being the single point of accountability for schedule, and the judgment to push back and keep scope honest
- Experience partnering with product functions and the product development, and user experience design process

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience shipping mobile games on iOS and Android
- Experience shipping for children or family audiences, or under comparable regulation such as COPPA, GDPR-K or age assurance
- Experience leading cross-disciplinary efforts across engineering, design, art and UX
- Experience and comfort using product and delivery data to inform and drive decisions
- Time in a licensed or brand-owned portfolio
- Experience standing up production process in a new team, rather than inheriting one
- Live operations experience, incident handling, on-call rotations, post-mortems
