About Rad Media:

Rad Media is a Gen-Z multimedia group and creative agency, housing; Culted, CultedXO, and Rad Studio. Our work spans fashion, beauty, art, sport, music, and youth culture - always with a forward-thinking perspective that resonates with young audiences.

Through our omni-channel approach and captivating content, we’ve built a fast-growing international audience of over 2.5 million users, establishing Rad Media as a trusted voice and partner for brands seeking authentic engagement with Gen-Z. We are now looking for a skilled and talented London based Creative Strategist to join our team on a full-time basis.

Core tasks and duties:

Production Leadership

  • Oversee all productions across the business, from negotiations and agreements through to final delivery and reporting
  • Set and uphold production standards, ensuring all work is delivered to a high quality, on time, and within budget
  • Own the production process end-to-end, identifying and resolving bottlenecks before they impact delivery
  • Champion best practice in production and project management across the studio
  • Act as the senior escalation point for production challenges, ensuring issues are resolved quickly and effectively

Team Leadership

  • Manage producers, freelancers, and project managers, providing clear direction, guidance, and mentorship
  • Build and maintain a trusted network of freelance talent to flex production capacity as needed
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire team members, fostering an environment of going above and beyond
  • Delegate tasks and resource projects appropriately, ensuring the right people are on the right work
  • Provide clear direction and establish expectations for internal teams and external partners/suppliers

Project & Resource Management

  • Manage production budgets and resourcing across multiple concurrent projects
  • Protect our profit margins on projects
  • Ensure all internal teams are briefed on projects and understand production timelines and requirements
  • Effectively manage multiple productions and deadlines simultaneously, prioritising as needed
  • Manage relationships with external suppliers, vendors, and freelance partners to ensure quality and reliability
  • Anticipate risks to timeline, budget, or quality and put mitigation plans in place proactively

Strategy & Business Growth

  • Input on annual strategy for production capacity, budget allocation, and new hires
  • Understand the capabilities of Rad Media and how each team and the global network can contribute to production delivery
  • Identify opportunities to improve production efficiency, processes, and ways of working
  • Work closely with creative and client teams to ensure production plans support the overall project strategy and client objectives
  • Innovate on product development and services to remain competitive

The successful candidate:

  • Experience managing and leading a production team, including producers, freelancers, and project managers
  • At least 5–7 years of experience in production, preferably within an agency, studio, or content production environment
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering high-level, complex projects on time and within budget
  • Experience managing production budgets, resourcing, and freelance/supplier relationships
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple productions simultaneously
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, ambitious, passionate, with a solid work ethic
  • Logical, solutions-oriented thinker who can solve issues in a positive, constructive manner
  • Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail
  • Culturally aware and genuinely interested in pop culture and passion points
  • Understands the importance of brand and creative quality, and how production supports it
  • Calm under pressure with the ability to manage competing priorities and tight deadlines
  • Positive, solution-first attitude

  • Confident presentation skills
  • Proficient in using spreadsheet software, such as Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets, to analyse and present data
  • A communicator, in person and writing - excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Outstanding organisational skills

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to liaise with clients and build strong relationships and influence decision making
