Director of Quant Operations

Location: London, Hybrid

Salary: up to £100,000


This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced quantitative operations leader to join a growing research organisation at a senior level. The Role

  • Lead the day-to-day operations of the quantitative research function.
  • Manage, coach, and develop a team focused on delivering high-quality quantitative research projects.
  • Drive operational strategy, process improvements, and best practice across the department.
  • Oversee project allocation, resource planning, and workflow management to ensure efficient delivery.
  • Establish and maintain training, onboarding, and quality control processes.
  • Ensure projects are delivered in line with relevant industry standards, regulatory requirements, and client expectations.
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and clients, providing expert operational leadership.
  • Monitor team performance, utilisation, and budgets to support business objectives.

  • Strong commercial experience managing quantitative research operations or fieldwork teams.
  • Proven leadership capability with experience developing and mentoring high-performing teams.
  • Background within market research, insights, healthcare research, or a related data-focused environment.
  • Strong project management and resource planning skills.
  • Experience improving operational processes and driving efficiency.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capability.
  • Proficiency with research platforms and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
