About the Role
This role involves leading the research and knowledge exchange activities within the University of Brighton. Key responsibilities include:

- Strategic Leadership: Overseeing the research strategy and ensuring alignment with the university's goals.
- Funding and Grants: Managing research funding and grants, identifying new funding opportunities.
- Collaboration: Fostering partnerships with external organizations, including industry, government, and other academic institutions.
- Knowledge Transfer: Ensuring effective knowledge transfer and impact from research activities.
Requirements
- A relevant PhD or equivalent professional experience in a related field.
- Proven experience in a senior research leadership role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong understanding of research funding mechanisms and grant applications.
