Brewer Morris has been exclusively instructed to support a leading global law firm in the appointment of a senior finance leader to oversee and transform its global revenue operations function.
This is a highly visible leadership opportunity, reporting into senior finance leadership and partnering closely with partners, practice leaders and business services stakeholders across multiple jurisdictions. The successful individual will take ownership of the firm's end-to-end revenue lifecycle, driving operational excellence, process optimisation, technology adoption and working capital performance. Candidates must come from the legal sector and possess significant experience leading billing, revenue management and client finance functions within a law firm environment.
The Opportunity
This role will lead a sizeable international team responsible for billing, e-billing, client finance and revenue operations, whilst driving a strategic transformation agenda focused on standardisation, automation, controls and commercial performance.

You will act as the subject matter expert across revenue management, partnering with finance leadership and senior stakeholders to:
- Lead and optimise the global revenue lifecycle from matter inception through billing, revenue recognition and cash collection.
- Drive revenue process transformation, operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Enhance billing, e-billing and client finance operations across multiple jurisdictions.
- Improve working capital performance, billing discipline and revenue controls.
- Identify and mitigate revenue leakage and operational risks.
- Lead global projects involving finance systems, automation, AI and digital solutions.
- Develop high-performing teams while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration and service excellence.
Candidate Profile
We are keen to speak with established revenue, billing or working capital leaders from the legal sector who can demonstrate:
- Extensive experience leading revenue operations, billing or working capital functions within a law firm environment.
- A proven track record delivering process improvement, transformation and technology-led change programmes.
- Strong knowledge of billing, e-billing, client financial operations and revenue governance.
- Experience influencing partners and senior stakeholders in a complex professional services environment.
- Outstanding leadership skills, with experience managing large, multi-disciplinary and geographically dispersed teams.
- Strong commercial acumen combined with a continuous improvement mindset.
