Director of Revenue Operations & Strategic Finance

Location: Remote from Spain, UK or Germany (optional Hybrid in Berlin)

Reporting to: VP of Finance

About The Role

As the Director of Revenue Operations & Strategic Finance, you will be responsible for shaping and steering CoachHub’s financial plan and go-to-market strategy.

Reporting directly to the VP Finance, you will act as the dedicated business partner to our Sales organization, while also partnering closely with Customer Success, Product & Tech and Support functions. Your focus will be on driving sustainable, profitable growth by connecting commercial performance, operational reality and financial outcomes.

This is a hands-on role for someone who can fly high and dive deep - acting as an eye-level sparring partner to senior commercial and finance leaders while also being willing to get into the details and drive important topics personally.

You will lead and develop a team of Revenue Operations and FP&A professionals while helping shape and further build the function as CoachHub continues to scale.

Key Responsibilities

Revenue Operations & Commercial Partnering:

  • Revenue forecasting & steering: Own pipeline and bookings forecasting, develop the latest view of expected progress on deals and work with Sales leadership to define measures to reach targets.
  • Sales & Marketing resource allocation: Advise on staffing and deployment of commercial resources to maximise return on investment.
  • Sales incentives design: Partner with the compensation team on quota and variable compensation topics, ensuring commercial incentives are aligned with business objectives.
  • Commercial performance improvement: Turn complex commercial and financial data into clear insights and recommendations that drive commercial business decisions.
  • Revenue operations improvements: Partner with the Go-to-market systems team to improve processes, tools and ways of working across the commercial organization, independently identifying and driving opportunities to increase efficiency.

Strategic Finance & Planning

  • Financial planning: Develop an integrated financial plan from contract value (ACV / TCV), through the P&L to cash flow, working closely with stakeholders across the business.
  • Forecasting & steering: Translate financial and operational performance into clear insights and recommendations for senior leadership.
  • Business partnering: Partner with the VP Finance and senior stakeholders on strategic business decisions, ensuring commercial initiatives are grounded in the broader financial picture.
  • Reporting: Lead the team to efficiently deliver management, investor and bank reporting

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

Leadership

  • People leader: Lead and develop a diverse team of Revenue Operations and FP&A professionals across financial and operational disciplines.
  • Trusted advisor: Act as a dedicated business partner to senior commercial leadership and role model strong business partnering for your team.
  • Pragmatic operator: Bring structure and best practices where needed, while adapting them to what is actually fit-for-purpose for CoachHub rather than simply applying established blueprints.
  • Independent driver: Set your own agenda, identify opportunities and drive meaningful change independently in an environment where ambiguity is part of the job.

Your Profile

  • Revenue & Commercial Expertise: Strong experience partnering with Sales or commercial leadership — owning or driving revenue forecasting, pipeline, GTM planning and commercial performance.
  • Finance Foundation: Solid finance background with strong analytical and commercial-modelling skills — you're comfortable in raw data and can synthesise it into clear strategic insight. Deep FP&A or strategic-finance expertise is valued but can be further developed on the job where the commercial and finance-partnering foundation is already strong.
  • Business Partnering: Proven track record partnering VP- and C-level stakeholders and influencing decisions without direct authority.
  • Leadership: Experience building and developing high-performing analytical teams, including at least 2–3 years directly leading a team.
  • Builder & Scale-up Mindset: Demonstrated ability to independently build, improve or reshape processes, teams or ways of working — setting your own agenda and adapting best practices pragmatically to a scaling business, rather than applying a big-company blueprint.
  • Communication: Exceptional communication and storytelling — you make complex financial and commercial concepts simple and engaging for senior stakeholders.

Tech Stack (Preferred):

  • Proficiency in modern FP&A/planning platforms.
  • Experience with BI and CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Tableau, Looker); SQL knowledge is a strong plus.

Educational Background:

  • University degree in Business Administration, Finance, (Business) Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field. A professional finance qualification (CIMA, CFA) or MBA is a plus.

Language:

  • Fluent English required. German is a plus.

What We Offer

  • Own it, drive it: Competitive salary and equity - real scope to shape a function, not just run it, and when we grow, you grow.
  • Grow through coaching & doing: Access to your own certified coach, AIMY (our AI coach), and genuine stretch - this is a role built to broaden your remit across revenue and finance, not keep you in one lane.
  • Work-life that works: Remote-first, with flexible options, Wellbeing Days + 1 Volunteering Day, and extra holidays (above the legal minimum in most locations).
  • Thrive in change: No boring days - we experiment, test and learn. Agile ways of working, real autonomy to set your own agenda, and recognition for fresh ideas.
  • Purpose in every role: Mission-driven work that changes lives, not just business results.
