Position: Sales/Business Development Director – Passive Fire Solutions, Healthcare

Location: National UK | Flexible Location

Package: Six-Figure Salary + Bonus + Car Allowance + Benefits


Our client is a leading UK provider of passive fire protection and compliance services, with an established reputation for quality, reliability, and regulatory excellence.

As part of continued growth and strategic expansion, they are seeking an experienced Sales/Business Development Director – Passive Fire Solutions, Healthcare to lead and significantly develop their presence across the UK healthcare sector.

This is a high-profile leadership role focused on driving revenue growth, developing strategic relationships, and increasing market share across NHS Trusts, private healthcare groups, and complex healthcare estates.

The successful candidate will combine strong passive fire knowledge with significant commercial experience within healthcare environments. They will have the credibility to engage at senior executive and board level and a strong understanding of healthcare procurement, frameworks, and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute the commercial growth strategy for the healthcare sector.
  • Build senior-level relationships across NHS Trusts, private healthcare groups, and healthcare estates.
  • Identify and secure major new business opportunities across NHS, private healthcare, and public sector frameworks.
  • Lead major bids, tenders, and complex commercial negotiations.
  • Develop strategic accounts and drive sustainable revenue growth.
  • Work closely with operational and technical teams to ensure excellent service delivery, retention, and account development.
  • Provide market intelligence, competitor analysis, and sector insight to support business strategy.

Candidate Profile:

  • Proven Sales Director, Business Development Director, or senior commercial leadership experience within passive fire protection – essential
  • Significant experience within healthcare NHS trusts and Private hospital groups – essential
  • Proven track record selling into NHS Trusts, healthcare groups, public sector frameworks, and multi-site or complex estates environments.
  • Strong understanding of procurement routes, frameworks, and compliance requirements.
  • Demonstrable success winning major contracts, developing strategic accounts, and delivering revenue growth.
  • Strong commercial, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the credibility to operate at senior executive and board level.
  • Ability to operate nationally with flexibility to travel throughout the UK.
