Join Our Sales & Marketing Team
We are looking for a proactive and results-driven Sales & Marketing Executive / Manager to join our team, supporting Aloft Belfast and Residence Inn by Marriott Belfast Titanic Quarter, with additional commercial support across JMK Group properties as required. This is an exciting opportunity to lead commercial initiatives, drive revenue, and elevate brand visibility across a vibrant dual-site operation within a growing international hotel group.
In this dynamic role, you will lead day-to-day sales and marketing activities—building strong, value-based customer relationships, maximizing direct bookings, and executing campaigns across all key market segments (transient, corporate, group, and leisure).
Key Responsibilities
- Sales & Business Development: Proactively solicit new business, conduct sales calls, host FAM trips/trade shows, and maintain close relationships with corporate accounts and community partners to grow market share.
- Account & Pipeline Management: Execute operational sales tasks including generating proposals, writing contracts, managing customer correspondence, and tracking weekly/monthly sales reporting.
- Digital & Content Marketing: Manage hotel content across Marriott brand platforms, OTAs, social media, and internal websites to ensure full alignment with brand standards and optimized ROI on platforms (e.g., Koddi).
- Commercial Strategy & Market Analysis: Analyze competitor trends, market supply/demand, and customer needs to adapt sales tactics, achieve target KPIs, and reduce overall cost of sale.
- Customer Relations & Service Excellence: Drive customer loyalty by delivering exceptional service, managing account requirements, and collecting guest feedback to continually enhance product quality.
- Group Support: Support broader JMK Group hotels with sales appointments, account management, commercial projects, hotel openings, and cross-selling initiatives as business needs evolve.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
