Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

About You

You may already be a Sales Director, Director of Sales or Commercial Director, or a strong Head of Sales ready for a bigger role. We are fairly open-minded on exact background, but you will ideally bring:

  • Strong senior commercial experience within foodservice, food and drink, wholesale or drinks/beverages
  • A strong understanding of Free Trade/Independent customers
  • Experience of Groups would also be an advantage
  • Experience of leading a significant sales function through managers/sales leaders
  • Strong commercial judgement and a track record of driving performance and growth
  • An entrepreneurial and adaptable approach – you’re comfortable making decisions and don’t need lots of structure around you

Most importantly, we are looking for someone who is an excellent people leader and knows how to get the best out of their managers and teams.

This role won't suit someone who needs a highly structured corporate environment with a process in place for everything. It will suit someone who enjoys pace, autonomy and the opportunity to make a real difference.

What’s in it for you?

This is a newly created role and a chance to take ownership of a significant part of the sales operation at an important stage in the company’s growth.

You’ll have the opportunity to shape how the sales function develops, influence commercial direction and make your mark in a business where good ideas and constructive challenge are genuinely welcomed.

If you are a Manager who enjoys being close to your people and your customers, and want a role where you can actually make things happen, this could be a great next move.
