A bit about us

We’re Hyve - organiser of the world’s fastest-growing and most forward-thinking B2B events.
As the chosen event partner to many of the world’s leading companies, our platforms play a critical role in their strategies - helping them enter new markets, accelerate growth and connect with the people who matter most.

Our portfolio features some of the world’s leading events in sectors like ecommerce, healthcare, edtech, and fintech. We’re growing fast with an entrepreneurial culture that empowers big ideas and quick action, plus an ambitious acquisition strategy bringing exciting new events into our mix.

Alongside our market-leading events, we’re building tech and data-driven products that supercharge connections – from one-to-one meeting programs and curated table talks to year-round engagement platforms.

Whatever your role, you’ll join a global team redefining how industries connect, collaborate, and grow – working with some of the most talented people in the business.
Think that sounds good? Wait until our talent acquisition team tells you about the culture.

A bit about you

First things first: whatever your background, beliefs or ambitions, there’s a culture of belonging at Hyve — and everyone is welcome. The question isn’t where you’ve come from, but where you want to go.

You’ll thrive here if you’re curious, collaborative and not afraid to challenge convention. We look for people who take pride in what they do, who are excited by change and always moving forward. The kind of people who stay open, keep learning, and look for better ways to make an impact.

Our shared behaviours guide how we work: we dare to do things differently, own our work, embrace collaboration, stay true to ourselves and others, and remember that optimism wins.

If that sounds like you, you’ll fit right in.

About you

As Director of Sales and Marketing Technology, you will define and execute Hyve's technology strategy for customer acquisition, marketing engagement and commercial growth. You will own the platforms and capabilities used by Sales, Marketing and Digital teams across Hyve's global portfolio of approximately 20 event brands.

Reporting to the CTO, you will provide senior leadership for a complex estate that includes event websites, multiple instances of Microsoft Dynamics 365, HubSpot and an increasing adoption of Salesforce, together with the integrations, data flows and supporting products that connect them.

You will lead a team of approximately 12 people. Direct reports include a Technology Delivery Lead, Solution Architect, 3 CRM managers. The wider team includes CRM Administrators and, indirectly, a small team of Software Engineers.

This role combines technology strategy, product and platform ownership, CRM and MarTech transformation, digital experience, architecture, delivery, operational leadership and organisational change. You will work closely with Commercial, Marketing, Digital Experience, Event Technology, Data & AI and Enterprise Architecture teams to simplify Hyve's estate and turn Sales and Marketing Technology into a scalable growth capability.

Key responsibilities

  • Define and own Hyve's enterprise Sales and Marketing Technology strategy, aligned with commercial growth, customer experience and the wider Technology strategy.
  • Create and maintain a multi-year roadmap across CRM, MarTech, event websites, customer engagement, lead management and supporting integrations.
  • Translate business strategy into a focused portfolio of technology investments, platform improvements and change initiatives with clear outcomes and measures of value.
  • Establish target operating models and governance that work across Hyve's portfolio of event businesses while allowing justified variation by business and event archetype.
  • Develop investment cases and provide transparent executive reporting on delivery, adoption, cost, risk and benefits.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Platform Ownership, Transformation & Rationalisation

  • Provide senior leadership and end-to-end ownership of all Hyve Sales and Marketing platforms and their supporting services.
  • Own the strategic direction, lifecycle, service performance, security, adoption and commercial value of event websites and various CRM platforms and associated products.
  • Create a clear platform strategy for Hyve's portfolio of event brands, reducing unnecessary duplication, defining standards, ownership boundaries, service expectations and retirement plans across the estate.
  • Ensure product roadmaps remain aligned to customer journeys, sales effectiveness, marketing performance and business priorities.
  • Provide executive ownership for the transformation of Hyve's CRM landscape, including the transition from fragmented Dynamics 365 instances towards Salesforce (the Ignition programme). Take ownership of this programme on joining Hyve which will already be underway, ensuring it delivers a scalable Sales and Marketing solution for Hyve's growth events and establishes the foundation for wider platform consolidation.
  • Maintain clear accountability for programme outcomes, scope, investment, governance, executive engagement, business readiness, benefits realisation and transition into sustainable operation.
  • Define plans for coexistence, migration and decommissioning across Salesforce, Dynamics 365 and HubSpot, avoiding uncontrolled platform proliferation.
  • Drive adoption through clear process ownership, data readiness, training, change management and strong partnership with Commercial and Finance leaders.

Event Websites & Digital Experience

  • Own the technology strategy and platform roadmap for the event websites serving Hyve's portfolio of approximately 20 brands.
  • Partner with Marketing, Digital Experience and Event Technology to create consistent, high-performing journeys from awareness and content discovery through registration, participation and post-event engagement.
  • Ensure website platforms support brand needs, content operations, SEO, accessibility, analytics, personalisation, conversion optimisation and reliable integration with CRM, MarTech and Event Technology.
  • Define reusable patterns, components and governance that improve speed to market and reduce duplicated development and support effort.
  • Maintain appropriate oversight of website delivery, releases, reliability, performance, security and technical debt.

Marketing Technology & Customer Engagement

  • Own Hyve's marketing technology strategy, with HubSpot as a core marketing platform and clear governance for its use across brands and regions.
  • Ensure effective platform administration, data quality, permissions, automation, integrations, release management and user support.
  • Develop capabilities for segmentation, lead capture, lead enrichment, scoring, nurture, campaign execution, attribution and sales hand-off.
  • Govern the introduction and use of adjacent tools such as Apollo and Clay, ensuring they complement rather than fragment the core platform strategy.
  • Ensure customer communication preferences and opt-outs are applied consistently across platforms and that marketing processes meet privacy, security and regulatory requirements.
  • Partner with Marketing and Data & AI to improve campaign insight, customer understanding and measurable return on marketing investment.

Architecture, Integration & Data

  • Work closely with the Enterprise Architect to define target architectures, standards and transition roadmaps for Sales and Marketing Technology.
  • Ensure CRM, MarTech, websites, Event Technology, finance and enterprise data platforms operate as a connected ecosystem supported by well-governed APIs and integration patterns.
  • Partner with the Director of Data & AI to embed Hyve's standard semantic data model and authoritative definitions for customers, accounts, contacts, events, products, pipeline, campaigns and revenue.
  • Improve identity resolution, data quality, lineage and ownership across customer and commercial platforms.
  • Ensure architecture decisions balance strategic fit, customer value, security, resilience, cost, implementation effort and speed of delivery.
