Our leadership team is seeking a Director of Sales & Operations to join our team in Guam. In this position, you will serve as the strategic and operational leader driving performance across the organization’s core commercial unit: Sales and Supply & Operations Planning (S&OP). As a key member of the leadership team, this position is responsible for ensuring the seamless execution of the company’s business strategy through operational excellence, data-driven decision-making, and a high-performance culture.

What you’ll do

Strategic Leadership & Business Alignment

  • Develop and execute regional business strategies aligned with overall corporate objectives.
  • Drive growth and profitability in Guam, Saipan, and Palau through integrated planning across Sales and S&OP Operations.
  • Partner with the VP/GM and other executives to shape long-term vision and investment priorities.

Sales & Marketing Integration

  • Lead and manage direct and channel sales teams to achieve revenue targets.
  • Build strong customer relationships and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor market trends and adjust go-to-market strategies to maintain competitive advantage

S&OP Planning

  • Drive the company’s S&OP process to ensure alignment between demand, inventory, supply chain, and sales forecasts.
  • Collaborate with functional teams to balance demand planning, capacity management, and service levels.
  • Utilize data-driven insights for forecasting, inventory optimization, and resource allocation.

Operational Excellence

  • Implement KPIs and dashboards to monitor and improve performance across sales and operations.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, operational discipline, and accountability.
  • Identify operational inefficiencies and implement cross-departmental process enhancements to improve speed, quality, and customer satisfaction.
  • Manage budgets, cost control, and P&L for Guam, Saipan, and Palau operations.

People Leadership

  • Build, mentor, and retain high-performing cross-functional teams.
  • Promote a culture of collaboration, empowerment, and innovation.
  • Ensure effective succession planning and talent development.

About you

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Automotive Management, Marketing, or related field required; MBA preferred.
  • Experience: Progressive leadership experience in the automotive industry, preferably in dealership or OEM environments.
  • Leadership: Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive performance across sales, marketing, and operations.
  • Business Management: Experience with P&L management and business transformation initiatives preferred.
  • Strategic & Operational Knowledge: Strong knowledge of strategic planning, resource allocation, operations, workforce management, and business processes.
  • Customer & People Management: Understanding of customer service, employee recruitment, training, compensation, labor relations, and team development.
  • Problem-Solving & Decision-Making: Ability to assess performance, identify complex problems, evaluate alternatives, make sound decisions, and implement solutions.
  • Core Abilities: Strong analytical thinking, pattern recognition, attention to detail, risk awareness, sustained focus, and clear written communication.
