We have an exciting new hotel joining our RBH portfolio! This modern Upper Midscale property in central London features well appointed rooms, state-of-the-art meeting room, a fully equipped gym, and a vibrant bar and restaurant. As part of the globally recognised Hilton family of brands, this hotel will need to quickly established itself in a competitive market!
We're searching for our next Sales Superstar—an ambitious and driven Director of Sales ready to lead from the front.
This is a standout opportunity to join the hotel’s senior leadership team and make a tangible impact. You’ll be at the forefront of driving strategic sales initiatives, developing long-term business relationships, and unlocking new revenue streams to position the hotel for continued success.

Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Sales Leadership: Drive the hotel’s commercial success by leading the development and execution of a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with the overall business plan. Collaborate directly with the General Manager and senior leadership to set targets, identify growth opportunities, and position the hotel competitively across all market segments.
- Account Management & Business Development: Take ownership of key national and local corporate and agency accounts, strengthening existing partnerships while actively identifying and converting new business opportunities. Increase market share and profitability across corporate, MICE, leisure, and business group segments.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders. Lead rate negotiations, manage account performance, and deliver bespoke solutions to exceed client expectations and maximise retention.
- Brand & Market Positioning: Serve as the hotel’s brand ambassador and strategist—clearly define the hotel’s unique value proposition and ensure consistent messaging across all platforms. Think creatively to differentiate the hotel in a competitive market and support long-term brand growth.
- Marketing Support: Support the delivery of marketing activity in collaboration with the General Manager and RBH Marketing Team, ensuring initiatives align with sales goals and brand standards.
- Revenue Optimisation: Partner with the Revenue Manager to analyse market trends, monitor competitor activity, and implement targeted promotional strategies. Lead regular reviews to evaluate performance, adjust tactics, and drive RevPAR and overall profitability.
- Team Leadership & Collaboration: Inspire, lead, and develop the on-property commercial team, including direct oversight of the Reservations Supervisor and Meetings & Groups Sales Executive. Foster a results-driven, collaborative environment that champions proactive sales and customer service excellence.
- Reporting & Insights: Deliver timely, accurate sales and marketing performance reports to stakeholders and hotel ownership. Translate data into actionable insights, providing clear recommendations for ongoing improvement and innovation.
- Industry Engagement: Actively represent the hotel at trade shows, networking events, and industry exhibitions to build awareness, generate leads, and stay informed on market developments and customer trends.
- Collaboration with RBH Central Sales Team: Work closely with RBH’s central sales function to ensure the hotel is well-represented in national campaigns, agency partnerships, and strategic initiatives across the wider portfolio.

- Proven Sales Experience: A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a hospitality sales role, with a strong track record of meeting—and exceeding—commercial targets across multiple segments.
- Inspiring Leadership: A confident, people-focused leader who knows how to motivate, develop, and guide a high-performing team while fostering a culture of accountability and collaboration.
- Strategic Thinking: Sharp commercial instincts and the ability to interpret market trends, business intelligence, and performance data to inform smart, revenue-driving decisions.
- Marketing Awareness: A solid understanding of marketing principles and how they support the sales function, with experience collaborating across teams to deliver aligned campaigns.
- Exceptional Communicator: Strong presentation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders, build rapport with clients, and clearly articulate strategy at all levels.
