Director of Social Media & Content
We are looking for a Director of Social Media & Content to lead and manage the online presence of a student-led AI initiative at the University of Toronto.
This is a director-level role with real ownership, focused on content strategy, engagement, and audience growth around an upcoming in-person AI panel featuring founders, clinicians, and investors working on real-world AI deployment, as well as the longer-term growth of the club.
You will be responsible for setting direction and executing, not just posting content. This includes:

- Leading social media strategy (Instagram primary)
- Creating and overseeing posts, stories, and event promotion
- Growing followers and engagement organically
- Shaping the public narrative, tone, and brand of the club
- Coordinating with the core team on timing and messaging
This is not a passive or resume-padding role. You’ll work closely with a small, high-trust team and have autonomy to propose ideas and experiment creatively.

Who We’re Looking For
- UofT students who are reliable, organized, and proactive
- Comfortable leading content creation and engagement strategy
- Experience with Instagram or digital content is helpful but not required
- No AI or technical background required — judgment and execution matter more
Time commitment is light to moderate, with higher involvement leading up to the panel.
