About us
At Rocket SaaS, we’re redefining what a B2B marketing agency should be. We partner with ambitious SaaS companies as an extension of their team, building end-to-end demand generation strategies that drive predictable growth. We value curiosity over convention, ownership over process, and collaboration over silos. Nothing is off the table if it helps our clients grow. You’ll have the freedom to test ideas, shape strategy and work alongside talented specialists who genuinely care about doing great work.
Since launching, we’ve become one of the UK’s fastest-growing SaaS marketing agencies. We’ve grown organically through client referrals, long-term partnerships and a reputation for delivering measurable results. If you’re looking for a role where your ideas will shape strategy, your work will have a measurable impact, and you’ll help shape the growth of some of the most exciting SaaS companies, we’d love to hear from you.
The role
We're looking for a Director of Strategy to act as the senior strategic voice across our client portfolio. You'll partner with Account Directors who need strategic input for their clients, and take a hands-on role shaping strategy for our largest accounts. In parallel, you'll help drive Rocket SaaS's own marketing growth, applying the same thinking to our business that we apply to our clients'.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

This is a senior, high-visibility role for someone who can move fluently between content, performance, and CRO, and translate that into commercial strategy both for clients and for us.
What you'll do
- Act as strategic consultant across the client portfolio, supporting Account Directors on strategy for their accounts
- Take direct ownership of strategy for our largest and highest-complexity clients
- Set and guide strategy across four core disciplines: demand generation, content marketing, performance marketing, and website CRO
- Identify gaps or risks in client strategy before they become account problems
- Support and mentor Account Directors in strategic thinking, not just execution
- Lead strategy for Rocket SaaS's own marketing, driving our growth across the same channels
- Contribute to positioning, messaging, and go-to-market decisions as we scale
- Work closely with leadership on wider agency growth priorities
What we're looking for
- Proven track record building and delivering marketing strategy for B2B SaaS companies
- Strong grounding across demand gen, content marketing, performance marketing, and CRO, able to go deep in each, not just direct from a distance
- Experience advising senior stakeholders (client-side or internal) on strategic direction, not just delivering campaigns
- Supporting other strategists/account leads rather than only running your own accounts
- Strong commercial instincts, able to connect marketing activity to pipeline, revenue, and growth outcomes
- Excellent communication skills, able to challenge and influence senior stakeholders confidently
- Experience working across multiple accounts/clients simultaneously, prioritising ruthlessly
