Role Overview
As Senior Strategy Director, you will serve as the chief architect of our global telecom quality, core network, and SM-DP+ infrastructure. You will directly shape our global connectivity footprint, drastically lower roaming costs, and elevate network performance for over 20 million users worldwide.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect the Global Strategy: Define and own the multi-year vision for our Core Network, SM-DP+, and MVNX roadmap to scale our telecom infrastructure across priority markets.
- Quality vision and differentiation: Define what premium travel connectivity quality means at global scale, how we measure it, and how we move decisively ahead of competitors.
- Drive Financial Efficiency: Engineer wholesale cost structures to aggressively reduce data termination expenses across 30+ carrier relationships.
- Infrastructure optimization: Model and execute architecture pivots, evaluating structural changes that deliver measurably superior quality.
- Navigate Global Regulatory Landscapes: Develop compliant deployment models for complex markets subject to permanent roaming restrictions and local regulatory demands.
- Mapping driven by data: Leverage telemetry from 20M+ users to map dynamic geographic network performance and preemptively flag carrier degradation.
- Empower a High-Performing Team: Direct and develop a distributed global team of network architects, analysts, and operations leads, with 3 direct reports covering network architecture, quality, and strategic initiatives.

Qualifications:
- 12+ years of senior expertise in telecom strategy, cellular network engineering, roaming architecture, or MVNO/MVNX strategy.
- Deep technical acumen across GSMA SGP.22, eUICC Remote SIM Provisioning, multi-IMSI management, and 4G/5G core networks (Diameter, GTP, IPX).
- Proven track record demonstrating success driving initiatives across Product, Operations, and commercial teams.
- Demonstrated leadership in building and guiding cross-functional, globally distributed teams.
- Experience owning forecasting, business operations, or commercial planning in a data-intensive environment, covering demand and capacity planning, unit economics, and reporting cadence.
- Degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to Have:
- Experience with GSMA SGP.32 (eSIM IoT), 5G Standalone roaming (SEPP/N32), or SM-DP+ migrations.
- Hands-on knowledge of IMS architecture, VoLTE/VoWiFi roaming, TAP/RAP settlement, and steering of roaming.
- Direct commercial negotiation experience with Tier-1 carriers and global roaming hubs.
