Description

Davies Group | Property Claims Division

Are you a commercially driven leader with a passion for delivering exceptional customer outcomes, building high-performing teams, and driving operational excellence across complex supply chains?
At Davies, we're looking for an experienced Supply Chain & Procurement Director to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our Property business. Reporting directly to the Claims Director, Property, this is a high-impact leadership position with responsibility for our network and supply chain operations, including Davies Repair, BVS Verso, and a broad panel of supply chain partners.

This is far more than a procurement role. You'll be at the forefront of supplier performance, customer delivery, commercial success, and strategic growth, leading a team of senior managers and influencing outcomes across the wider business. If you're a proven leader with deep expertise in property insurance, building repair, and supply chain management, this is an opportunity to make a lasting impact in a market-leading organisation.

What will your day look like:

As Supply Chain & Procurement Director, you will:

  • Lead and develop multiple network management and supply chain teams, creating a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee service delivery across the Property division, ensuring consistent, high-quality outcomes for clients and customers.
  • Drive divisional financial performance, taking ownership of revenue, profitability, forecasting, and cost management.
  • Manage and optimise supplier relationships, ensuring our network partners deliver outstanding performance, quality, and value.
  • Champion a "One Davies" approach, bringing teams together to achieve common goals and deliver exceptional customer experiences.
  • Monitor operational performance through robust reporting, data analysis, and KPI management.
  • Provide strategic insight and recommendations to support business growth and operational excellence.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders, acting as a trusted partner and senior leader.
  • Contribute to business development activity, supporting tenders, client proposals, and strategic growth initiatives.
  • Drive innovation, efficiency, and continuous improvement across the supply chain and repair network.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
