I am working with a successful and scaling Norwich-based business with a growing global footprint that is looking to appoint a Technology Director to join its senior leadership team and help shape the next stage of its growth.
The business has built its success as a digitally native organisation and is now looking to make the transition towards becoming truly AI native – embedding AI, automation, data and technology more deeply into how it operates, serves its clients and develops new opportunities.
This is a broad leadership role with responsibility for the Data, AI, Infrastructure and Development teams. You will define and own the technology roadmap, ensuring the business has the platforms, systems, architecture and technical capability required to support continued international growth.
You will act as an ambassador for technology across the organisation, working closely with the wider senior leadership team and stakeholders across the business to identify where technology can improve efficiency, create new capability and deliver greater commercial value.

The role will also have an important external focus. You will support senior business stakeholders in conversations with new and existing clients, helping them understand the organisation's technology capabilities and demonstrating how data, AI and digital solutions can support their requirements.
What you need to succeed:
- Experience leading a broad technology function or significant technology transformation
- Good understanding of modern software development, cloud platforms and infrastructure
- A high-level appreciation of data platforms, architecture, integrations and how data should move across an organisation
- Practical understanding of AI, automation and emerging technology
- Experience developing and delivering a technology strategy and roadmap
- The ability to identify where technology can deliver meaningful commercial value
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at senior leadership level
- Confidence communicating technology strategy and capability to non-technical stakeholders and clients
- A pragmatic approach that balances innovation, scalability, delivery and commercial priorities
