Director of Tenant Services

Norfolk | Hybrid | £100,000 per annum

Are you an experienced housing leader looking for a senior role where you can shape strategy, lead transformation and make a genuine difference to tenants and communities?

We are partnering with a well-established social housing organisation in Norfolk to appoint a Director of Tenant Services. This is a pivotal leadership position, offering the opportunity to influence the future direction of tenant services across the organisation while working as part of the Senior Leadership Team.

The Role

  • Setting and delivering an ambitious strategic direction for Tenant Services.
  • Leading and developing a high-performing leadership team across multiple service areas.
  • Driving service improvement, transformation, and organisational change.
  • Ensuring strong performance, value for money, governance, and regulatory compliance.
  • Providing assurance, insight, and constructive challenge to the Executive Team and Board.
  • Maintaining a strong understanding of tenant experience and frontline service delivery.
  • Overseeing key areas of housing management including safeguarding, ASB, domestic abuse, tenancy fraud, and tenancy sustainment.
  • Leading organisational learning from complaints, customer feedback, service failures, and Ombudsman determinations.

  • Significant senior leadership experience within housing, landlord services, or a comparable regulated environment.
  • A strong understanding of social housing regulation, Consumer Standards, safeguarding, and Ombudsman expectations.
  • A proven track record of leading large-scale service, cultural, or organisational transformation.
  • Experience working at Executive, Board, and Committee level.
  • Strong commercial and financial understanding, including responsibility for significant budgets and resources.
