Transport Director
East Midlands | Excellent Salary + Bonus + Benefits
We’re partnering with a leading logistics organisation to appoint an experienced Transport Director to lead a large-scale, multi-site transport operation across the East Midlands.
This is a key executive appointment with responsibility for operational performance, commercial delivery, compliance, and the ongoing development of a high-performing transport function.
The Role
You’ll provide strategic leadership across transport operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, legal compliance, and commercial performance while driving continuous improvement and developing a strong leadership culture. Working closely with the Executive Team, you’ll influence business strategy, lead operational change, and ensure the transport operation is positioned for future growth.

About You
You’ll bring:
- Proven senior leadership experience within transport or logistics.
- Experience managing large, multi-site transport operations.
- Strong commercial and financial acumen with P&L responsibility.
- National CPC qualification.
- Extensive knowledge of transport legislation and compliance.
- A track record of delivering operational improvements and leading high-performing teams.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
