POSITION PURPOSE:
The Director of Treasury role is responsible for global treasury operations. This role is primarily focused on leading financial risk management activities including managing FX desk hedging program, successfully managing intercompany movement of cash through use of intercompany invoicing, loans and the established Inhouse Bank entity, implementation of a treasury management system, managing the ABL revolver and covenant compliance, and contributing to long-term financing strategy.
LEVEL OF WORK:
This is a Stratum III finance integration role with cross-functional accountability integrating treasury, tax, accounting, and global sales and logistics.

KEY RESULTS AREAS
- Global Treasury Operations and Liquidity Management: Develop, govern, and manage global cash visibility, daily liquidity positioning, intercompany funding, and short-term cash forecasting to ensure sufficient liquidity across Sycomp’s global entities.
- Intercompany Settlement and Inhouse Bank Governance: Manage the intercompany movement of cash through intercompany invoices, settlement planning, and the established Inhouse Bank entity in coordination with Tax, Accounting, Legal, and local country finance teams. Look to introduce Pay on Behalf of process.
- Treasury Management System Implementation and Automation: Lead the selection, implementation, and adoption of a Treasury Management System or treasury automation platform to improve cash visibility, bank connectivity, payment controls, reporting accuracy, and scalability. Implement automation in remittance matching and ERP payments.
- Financial Risk Management and FX Hedging: Lead financial risk management activities, including identification of foreign currency exposures, development of hedging strategy, execution of forward contracts or other approved instruments, and reporting on hedge performance and exposure trends.
- Working Capital Solutions (Supply chain finance, ABL, factoring): Manage the ABL revolver, borrowing base reporting, covenant compliance, lender reporting, revolver utilization, and liquidity availability analysis to ensure compliance with credit agreement requirements and proactive management of borrowing capacity.
- Bank Relationships, Global Banking Structure, and Financing Strategy: Serve as the primary treasury contact for banking relationships, global account administration, bank platform access, KYC, fees, and banking strategy while contributing to long-term financing alternatives and capital structure recommendations.
- Treasury Controls, Policies, Insurance and Compliance: Establish and maintain treasury policies, procedures, controls, approval workflows, segregation of duties, fraud prevention practices, bank access governance, and audit-ready documentation.
- Cross-Functional Finance Integration and Executive Reporting: Integrate treasury priorities with Accounting, Tax, FP&A, Sales, Legal, Operations, and global country teams to ensure treasury considerations are embedded in budgeting, revenue planning, working capital management, customer/vendor financing, and global business decisions.
- Treasury Team Development and Professional Capability: Build treasury capability within the finance organization by developing process documentation, training finance team members, and recommending professional development plans to support scalable treasury operations.
- Culture, Ownership, and Continuous Improvement: Model Sycomp’s mission, values, ownership mindset, and continuous improvement culture while proactively identifying opportunities to improve treasury efficiency, controls, automation, and business support.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field required; MBA, CPA, CFA, CTP, or other relevant treasury, finance, or accounting credential preferred.
- Minimum of 8 to 10 years of progressive treasury, corporate finance, banking, capital markets, or related finance experience, including demonstrated responsibility for global cash management, liquidity planning, debt facilities, and financial risk management.
- Experience managing treasury operations in a multi-entity, multi-currency, global business environment, including cash positioning, cash forecasting, intercompany settlements, in-house bank structures, bank account administration, and cross-border funding.
- Strong knowledge of asset-based lending facilities, borrowing base calculations, revolver availability, covenant compliance, lender reporting, credit agreements, and related treasury controls.
- Demonstrated experience identifying foreign currency exposures, developing and executing FX hedging strategies, using forward contracts or other approved instruments, and preparing related reporting, documentation, and variance analysis.
- Experience selecting, implementing, optimizing, or administering treasury management systems, bank connectivity, treasury workstations, ERP treasury modules, payment platforms, cash reporting tools, or related automation solutions.
- Advanced financial modeling, analytical, and reporting skills, including proficiency with Excel and the ability to build liquidity forecasts, covenant models, borrowing base support, FX exposure reporting, working capital dashboards, and executive-level treasury presentations.
- Strong understanding of treasury controls, payment approval workflows, bank access administration, segregation of duties, fraud prevention practices, audit support, policy documentation, and compliance with delegated authority requirements.
- Ability to partner effectively with Accounting, Tax, FP&A, Legal, Sales, Operations, banks, lenders, auditors, consultants, and external advisors to embed treasury considerations into business decisions and global operating processes.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate complex treasury, liquidity, FX, debt, and covenant topics clearly to the CFO, senior leadership, lenders, and non-treasury stakeholders through concise written materials, dashboards, and verbal presentations.
- Hands-on, detail-oriented operating style with the judgment to move between daily execution, process design, control ownership, strategic analysis, and executive-level recommendations.
- High level of integrity, ownership, critical thinking, urgency, continuous improvement mindset, and ability to operate independently in a high-growth, global, transformation-oriented environment.
