Director, Organisational Development

Carnival UK is at a pivotal moment of transformation, and we're looking for a Director, Organisational Development to shape how our business evolves for the future. Organisational design, workforce evolution, new ways of working, and employee experience are central to delivering exceptional outcomes for our guests and colleagues.

As the business behind P&O Cruises and Cunard, we're shaping the future of holiday happiness through innovation, outstanding leadership, and a relentless focus on continuous improvement. This is a senior leadership opportunity to turn ambitious strategy into lasting organisational impact.

Role Overview

As Director, Organisational Development, you'll lead Carnival UK's enterprise organisational development and people transformation agenda, partnering with executive leaders to evolve how the organisation is structured, operates, and enables its people to thrive. Spanning onboard and shoreside teams, this role will help turn strategic ambition into future-ready operating models, sustainable change, enhanced colleague experiences, and stronger organisational effectiveness, enabling our people to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Key Accountabilities

  • Lead the enterprise organisational development and people transformation agenda, translating business strategy into future-ready operating models, ways of working, and transformation programmes that enhance organisational effectiveness and employee experience.
  • Own the organisational design governance model, setting enterprise standards and acting as the senior gatekeeper for structural change.
  • Oversee and prioritise the transformation portfolio, ensuring alignment, adoption, benefits realisation, and sustainable business outcomes.
  • Provide trusted advice to senior leaders, bringing external insight, critical thinking, and constructive challenge to complex organisational and transformation decisions.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
