Job Description Summary

Job Title: Director, PACS Strategic Planning & Resource Allocation, Europe Operating Unit

Location: Europe (Flexible)

Reports To: Senior Director, PACS Strategy & Future Readiness

Role Purpose

The Director, PACS Strategic Planning & Resource Allocation is a critical Europe Operating Unit leadership role accountable for strengthening the strategic backbone of the PACS function. The role drives clarity, discipline, and alignment across planning, prioritization, and resourcing—ensuring PACS delivers maximum impact against Europe OU business priorities, reputation objectives, and long-term license to operate.

Operating at the intersection of strategy, finance, and enterprise governance, this role orchestrates Europewide PACS planning processes, including the Annual Business Plan (ABP) and Long Range Plan (LRP). The Director ensures strong integration across system partners, bottlers, and networked businesses (including Innocent and Costa), positioning PACS as a proactive, value-creating business partner.

Through robust resource allocation, governance, and performance routines, the role enables leaders to make informed trade-offs, deploy investments where they matter most, and deliver locally relevant, sustainable impact across diverse European markets.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Planning & Enterprise Alignment

  • Lead the Europe PACS ABP and LRP processes, ensuring alignment with Europe OU priorities, system strategies, and bottling partner plans.
  • Translate Europe OU strategic priorities into clear PACS objectives, investment choices, and execution roadmaps.
  • Enable disciplined prioritization across markets and workstreams, balancing short-term needs with long-term value creation.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
