The Work You'll Do
As Director of Partner and Value Enablement, you will lead the enablement strategy for Sovos partners and internal teams, driving scalable programs that empower partners to sell, implement, and support Sovos solutions to a consistent standard. You will champion the Certified Partner Program, ensuring partners are equipped to operate independently and effectively. Internally, you will define and execute enablement initiatives that leverage AI-driven approaches to enhance solution value, implementation readiness, and ongoing regulatory knowledge. This strategic leadership role requires close collaboration with Product, Marketing, Sales, and other stakeholders to ensure enablement programs are practical, measurable, and aligned with business priorities.

More Specifically, You Will
- Lead the development and execution of scalable partner enablement programs, including the Certified Partner Program
- Align certification requirements with partner tiers and program expectations in collaboration with Partner Programs and Account Management
- Establish and manage recertification cycles to maintain up-to-date partner certifications
- Develop and deliver enablement assets such as reference architectures, ERP integration guides, and mandate-specific resources
- Track and analyze certified partner performance to continuously improve curriculum and certification models
- Build and execute technical enablement plans for Sales Engineering, Professional Services, and Support teams
- Champion AI-forward enablement best practices and drive innovation across enablement initiatives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify enablement needs, refresh content, and integrate partners into direct sales motions
What We Need From You
- 8+ years of experience in sales enablement, partner enablement, or related roles within SaaS or enterprise software, including 3+ years managing teams
- Proven ability to build or significantly improve enablement functions and influence senior stakeholders
- Experience designing and running partner certification programs at scale
- Practical understanding of referral, reseller, and implementation partner enablement approaches
- Strong instructional design skills across on-demand, video, scenario-based, and instructor-led training
- Working knowledge of ERP and enterprise software platforms (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite)
- Exposure to tax technology solutions, including indirect tax, eInvoicing, and regulatory change across EMEA, LATAM, and North America
- Hands-on experience with enablement and learning platforms such as Mindtickle, Seismic, Highspot, or similar systems
