Position Overview: Director, Partnerships Strategy & Solutions
Elevate is seeking an experienced partnerships professional to develop compelling commercial propositions and customised partnership proposals for leading sports and entertainment properties across international markets. The Director will combine data, storytelling and partnership concepts to demonstrate how client rights and assets can deliver against brand objectives, taking ownership from initial thinking through to completed sales materials.
Working closely with project leads, Sales, Insights and Creative, the Director will help shape go-to-market strategies, manage day-to-day client coordination and ensure the timely delivery of high-quality work. The role requires sound commercial judgement, strong communication skills and the ability to work independently, drawing on senior guidance at key decision points. The Director will report to the VP, Partnerships & Strategy.
This is a hybrid role, based in our London office.
What You’ll Do
- Lead the development of strategic, customised partnership proposals and presentations, taking ownership from initial concept and narrative through to completed materials in collaboration with Insights, Creative and the wider project team
- Develop compelling partnership and activation concepts that align with prospective brand objectives and demonstrate how a partnership can be brought to life
- Interpret audience data, market research and existing insights to build persuasive commercial stories, identifying gaps and working with Insights to strengthen supporting evidence
- Develop a deep understanding of each assigned client’s business, audiences, rights and assets, identifying the strengths and points of differentiation that shape its positioning in the market
- Work collaboratively with clients and internal teams to package rights, benefits and assets into relevant partnership opportunities and customised proposals
- Contribute to the development and ongoing refinement of client go-to-market strategies, propositions and sales materials, incorporating feedback from brand conversations and the wider market
- Manage day-to-day client coordination and delivery of agreed work alongside the Project Lead, supporting onboarding, establishing meeting cadence and ensuring commitments and deadlines are met
- Coordinate project meetings, prepare and circulate agendas, capture decisions and action points, and ensure information reaches the right people across the client and internal teams
- Produce and share regular client and sales reports using inputs from the project and sales teams, following up with sales owners to ensure information is current and flagging gaps or outstanding actions to the Project Lead
- Coordinate contributions from Sales, Insights, Creative and other relevant teams, providing clear direction on required inputs and bringing the right expertise into each stage of proposal development
- Maintain ownership of proposal development as commercial conversations progress, adapting the narrative, concepts and rights packages in response to feedback and supporting the sales team through to agreement
- Manage priorities across assigned work and provide temporary support to other projects as required, coordinating with Project Leads and the central team to prevent gaps in delivery
- Exercise independent judgement in the day-to-day development and delivery of work, maintaining a consistent standard of accuracy and quality and seeking senior direction at key decision points
- Stay up to date with industry trends, relevant news and emerging partnership activity, applying this knowledge to keep client propositions and partnership ideas relevant to the market

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
