About the company
Our client is a fast-growing global learning platform for data and AI skills. It is used by millions of learners and thousands of companies, including many of the Fortune 1000. Its courses, certifications and hands-on projects help people and teams learn Python, SQL, AI, cloud and more. It works with leading AI, data and cloud technology companies and well-known experts in the field.
About the role
This is a senior, player-coach role in the Content organization. You will own the partnerships that bring leading technology companies, content providers and top experts onto the platform. You'll close deals yourself now and build a small team as the function grows.
It's a backfill. You'll take over established partnerships built over the past three years and grow them, so it's a warm start, not a cold build. You'll also shape what comes next.
What you'll do
- Own the partnership strategy for curriculum: which AI, data and cloud companies, content providers and experts to partner with, in what order, and why
- Source, negotiate and close partnerships: licensed and co-branded content, official vendor certifications and expert instructor deals
- Own the commercial and contract side: licensing terms, revenue share, content rights and instructor agreements
- Build and deepen relationships with all partners, new and existing, from leadership to their content and product teams
- Take partnerships from signed contract to live content that learners actually complete, working with curriculum, product, legal and marketing
- Define what a high-quality partner looks like, and decide which partnerships to double down on and which to retire
- Report on partnership performance to leadership
- Over time, hire and coach a small partnerships team while keeping your own portfolio

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What we're looking for
- 3–5+ years in partnerships, alliances, business development or related sales at a B2B SaaS or technology company
- A track record of deals you personally sourced, negotiated and closed, and/or partner relationships you owned and grew
- Startup or scale-up experience: you've built processes from scratch, worked without a playbook and made decisions independently
- Strong commercial and negotiation skills, including licensing, revenue share or similar commercial terms
- Solid knowledge of the AI, data and cloud landscape: who the players are, how the market is shifting and which partners will matter in 18 months. You don't need to be an engineer, but you're comfortable in technical conversations.
- An understanding of what makes learning content valuable to a buyer and to a learner. EdTech experience isn't required. Exposure to training, certification, developer education or L&D is enough.
