Title and Summary

Director, People Business Partner (Maternity Cover - 12 months)

Overview (Maternity Cover - 12 months)

  • Accountable for People & Capability(P&C) management in support of a business or geography
  • Partners with business leaders to design and implement a people strategy that advances the business and drives performance
  • Works with COEs, Payroll and Shared Services and Operations (GBSC) to ensure programs, processes and initiatives are successfully implemented and managed.

Responsibilities

  • Delivers a people strategy that supports business priorities and growth strategies for a line of business or market
  • May act as a member of the leadership team within a line of business or market
  • Partners with business leaders on change management initiatives that support the business strategy and maintain employee engagement
  • Provides advice, coaching and support to executives or people leaders on development, talent, employee relations, workforce planning and reward matters
  • Responsible for the management and delivery of core People and Capability programs for a large or complex business or geography
  • Partners closely with other Business Partner colleagues to ensure the consistent and seamless delivery of programs and services to the business
  • Provides in-depth data and insights, market insight and advises on talent implications of external trends that may have workforce implications
  • Works closely with COEs to deliver programs and customise when necessary. Shares feedback on the effectiveness of programs and initiatives
  • Serves as subject matter expert on the local labor market and regulatory environment
  • May manage a team of Business Partners and Specialists.

  • Experience managing local P&C operations for a market including delivering on change management, talent forecasts, succession planning progress and talent review updates
  • Demonstrated success when advising and coaching business leaders and other stakeholders on the local P&C environment, market best-practices and all day-to-day employment matters
  • Demonstrated success building relationships and collaborating with COEs and other key stakeholders, including P&C PBP colleagues.
