Director, Pharmaceutical Partnerships – Promotional & Medical Communications

Location: Hybrid – Bourne End, UK, with international travel as required
Reports to: CEO

Build partnerships. Shape campaigns. Drive growth.

Radcliffe is looking for an ambitious, commercially minded Director, Pharmaceutical Partnerships to accelerate growth across our pharmaceutical promotional and medical communications business.
This is a high-impact, consultative sales role for a proven healthcare Account Director with a strong understanding of pharmaceutical marketing, medical communications, and digital healthcare engagement, and who can partner with clients to turn that understanding into compelling, multi-channel commercial programmes.

You’ll work directly with pharmaceutical companies, biotech organizations, and healthcare communications agencies to develop strategic partnerships, win high-value opportunities, and expand existing accounts across EMEA, North America, and global markets.

You’ll have the opportunity to bring together Radcliffe’s powerful combination of trusted scientific content, global HCP reach, digital media, premium sponsored content, events, and measurable audience outcomes to create campaigns that deliver genuine value for our clients. If you’re energized by big opportunities, senior stakeholder relationships, and the challenge of turning insight into commercial growth, this is a role where you can make a significant impact.

About Radcliffe

Radcliffe is a global knowledge network serving the cardiovascular community, connecting healthcare professionals with world-class educational content, events, journals, and digital platforms.

With a global community of 350,000+ healthcare professionals, Radcliffe partners with pharmaceutical and medical technology companies to deliver impactful educational, promotional, and engagement programmes that improve clinical understanding and drive measurable outcomes. Our combination of scientific credibility, specialist expertise, engaged audiences, and innovative digital solutions gives pharmaceutical partners a powerful platform for reaching and engaging healthcare professionals around the world.

The Opportunity

As Director, Pharmaceutical Partnerships, you will own and grow a significant part of Radcliffe’s commercial opportunity across pharmaceutical promotional and medical communications. You’ll identify where we can add value, open doors with senior decision-makers, shape compelling solutions, and take opportunities from initial conversation through to commercial agreement and successful delivery.

This is a consultative, strategic sales role rather than a traditional media sales position. You’ll need to understand the challenges facing pharmaceutical brand, commercial, medical affairs, and omnichannel teams—and translate those challenges into innovative campaigns that deliver measurable value.

You’ll also play a pivotal role in developing our agency relationships, ensuring Radcliffe is part of the conversation when healthcare communications agencies are planning campaigns and recommending partners to their clients.

What You’ll Sell: High-Impact Promotional & Medical Communications Solutions

A key focus of the role will be growing revenue from Radcliffe’s promotional media, sponsored content, and medical communications solutions. You’ll work with clients to create integrated programmes spanning:

  • Premium Sponsored Content & Medical Communications
  • Resource hubs
  • Fireside conversations
  • Roundtable webinars
  • Podcast series
  • Conference amplification programmes
  • Surveys and insight reports
  • Bespoke sponsored content programmes
  • Integrated multi-channel HCP engagement campaign

Digital & Media

  • Interstitial advertising
  • Native advertising
  • Display advertising
  • Pre-roll video campaigns
  • Sponsored email campaigns
  • Event sponsorships
  • High-impact digital media solutions

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
