We are actively seeking an experienced Director, Pre-Sales, EMEA to join our dynamic team. This position reports directly to the Sr. Director of Global Pre-Sales and offers flexibility to work remotely from a home office located within the United Kingdom.
Position Summary
This role is primarily responsible for the Solution Engineer Team supporting sales activities mainly across the EMEA region.
The Director, Pre-Sales is responsible for articulating Rimini Street’s solution portfolio and value proposition to clients and prospects leading a Regional Solution Engineer team serving as trusted advisors while providing deep SAP, Oracle and other product-specific functional and technical expertise to drive sales.
In this role, you will partner with Sales Leadership across the region and directly engage or lead the Solution Engineer team that engages in sales opportunities, actively participate in customer meetings and work closely with our Senior Account Executives to respond to our customers’ business needs and challenges.
The Director, Pre-Sales also acts as the primary conduit to the internal Delivery and Strategic Services teams. You will leverage your existing technical and functional knowledge in working with all product stakeholders within our organization. Using this experience, you would articulate the strategy and direction for all products that is supported by Rimini Street.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Partner with Regional General Managers, Sales VPs and Sales Directors to develop and support sales strategies and account plans to achieve sales targets in supported region.
- Hire, onboard, train/develop, and manage a team of successful Solution Engineers that consistently overachieve sales targets.
- Guide Solution Engineers on successful partnership with Sales Account Executives during the sales cycle contributing to the sales process to close deals.
- Engage with clients
C-level executives to understand their IT Roadmap and position Rimini Solution Portfolio to address clientschallenges based on business case/ROI and risk assessment. - Coach and ensure quality control on Solution Engineers activities including solution scoping, functional/technical Q&A, solution design, pricing calculation, proposal development, RFP and presentations to prospects and clients.
- Contribute to the company wide initiatives in support of the growth and profitability of the Rimini Street product lines.
Travel will be required
Experience Qualifications & Skills
- 5+ years in a pre-sales or solution architecture leadership or equivalent role with a proven track record of team building to drive strong sales results against target plans.
- Significant experience working within the SAP or Oracle Applications ecosystem – Software and/or Services supporting the sales cycle and proven track record contributing to close deals.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Experience in a “consultative selling” environment with a history of working in a global, matrixed organization.
- Extensive experience in solutioning SAP or Oracle support and managed services.
- Extensive experience in solutioning SAP (ECC, S/4HANA, RISE, etc.) or Oracle (EBS, Oracle DB, Oracle Business Suite, Fusion) products.
- Experience in creating proposals for Managed Services and estimating staffing and costs is a plus.
