At Expedia Group, our mission is to power global travel for everyone, everywhere. Within Expedia Group, the Experience Design (XD) organization brings together product design, content design, and research to shape experiences that help travelers confidently discover and explore the world.
We’re seeking a Director/Principal of Product Design – Search to own and advance the design direction for Expedia Group’s search experiences. This role is calibrated as a senior individual-contributor leadership position, with scope expected to evolve as the Search domain and organization continue to mature.
In this role, you’ll operate as a design and creative authority who leads through vision, judgment, and hands-on craft—taking on the most complex experience challenges while setting standards others follow. You’ll lead the design of intelligent search as the foundation for travel discovery, planning, and shopping—using high-fidelity design, systems thinking, and advanced prototyping at a global scale.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
